THEY'RE HERE!!! Elizabeth Jameson and Catherine Margaret were born at 0813 and 0814 on June 28, 2006! Both girls were exactly 7 pounds and 19 inches each! Babies and Mommy are doing great. Susann and the twins will probably get to come home this Saturday with no problems. We want to thank everyone for the well-wishes and prayers during the pregnancy and hope they continue as we start our lives with these two wonderful little ladies! Stay tuned!

37 Weeks 6 Days!

This is our last post of the belly! We're off to deliver the babies this morning. Thanks again to all who sent their support and prayers. They were needed and so appreciated by our family. We look forward to introducing these girls to the world soon!

Our Day at the Beach!

Today was our last Sunday as a family of four. We decided to head to the beach to relax and let the kids play in the water and sand. We had a wonderful time. The kids loved it! Here is Noel braving the waters of Galveston. She loved jumping each time a small wave came her way.
Surf's Up Dude...

Here's the P-man at the beach. He had a blast. He has asked for a surf board now. We'll have to think about that one. Today we just encouraged him to keep building sand castles. That's not going to keep him busy for long!
Shell Searching

The kids spent a good part of the afternoon searching for shells. They had so much fun! It was amazing how they worked together....They were actually nice to each other! We need to go to the beach more often.

We've Been Swimming......

We've been spending our afternoon's in the pool. Parker is working on mastering the canon ball - the bigger the splash, the better. The cool pool is helping the afternoon go by quickly and comfortably. Mom gets to relax and the kids get tired- everybody wins!
And Swimming....

Here she is, Super Noel. Noel's favorite thing to do as she jumps off the diving board is to recite a cheer she learned at Cheer Camp. This is the "V" for victory jump. Whoo hoo!

Baseball Camp for Parker!

Parker started baseball camp on Tuesday. Camp was scheduled to begin on Monday, but due to the horrible rain it was closed that day. He's having lots of fun.As you can see, he's practicing his "skills" in the front yard. He'll be at camp for the rest of the week. Again, Grandma Glenn sure knows how to pick the right camps for her grandkids!

The Nursery is Ready!

The cribs are in and the bedding is down. All we need now are the the little ones who belong here. Shouldn't be too much longer!

Catherine's bed.

Elizabeth's bed.

The changing table...We expect to spend a lot of time here....

Play area.

Noel is Off to Cheer Leading Camp!

Noel began cheer leading camp today. She was very excited and can hardly wait to go back tomorrow. She will be there all week for 1/2 a day. She came home totally exhausted. Quote of the day: "Cheer leading is HARD work! I'm serious Mommy!" Grandma Glenn really knows how to choose the right camp for her grand-daughter! Thanks Grandma!

Pogo Stick Mania!

The summer boredom finally kicked in this morning and the pogo stick came out. Parker was determined to break a record. He wanted to see how many consecutive hops he could make on the stick. Noel was keeping tabs on each attempt and writing down the number. They were up to 124 in this picture. The final total was 136! Way to go. It certainly tired Parker out for a while.

Here is the P-Man attempting the record. The secret to many consecutive jumps is you don't jump too high off the ground.

Here is Miss Noel keeping tabs on her brother. Please note that she is wearing her helmet as well for safety reasons. Seriously, you can't be too careful.

Uninvited Guest!

We had a visitor on our swimming outing today. This guy came out of a tree and landed on the trellis where the swing is by the pool. Susann looked up and saw the snake and quickly snatched up Noel and ran into the house! Ron was able to take some neat shots before the snake disappeared under the shed. Turns out this guy is an Eastern Coachwhip Snake and it is very rare to see them in the wild. They are not poisonous, but it sure made the afternoon swim exciting! You can learn more about him by clicking here: http://www.snakesandfrogs.com/scra/snakes/cwhip.htm

34 Weeks!
We did it! We made it 34 weeks. Both girls are 5 pounds each now, getting bigger and they're not through cooking yet! The weeks and weeks of bed rest are really paying off here. We have at least two more weeks to go.
