10 MONTHS OLD...

A CONVERSATION!

"Catherine we are finally 10 months old! I am so excited. Let's let everyone know what we're up to!"

"Well, I am walking! I figured out that's how you can get somewhere very quickly...It's not my main means of transportation, but I am practicing as much as I can."

"I know, I'm practicing the walking too, but I much prefer it when someone picks me up and carries me. I really am enjoying reading books...and eating them..."

"After a long day of playing, there's nothing like falling asleep after a good meal."

An Afternoon of Fishing

Dad and the big kids went to Centennial Park this Sunday to a huge Kid Fish. 750 pounds of fish were put in the lake to stock up for this event. Parker and Noel had a great time! It was nice to have their dad's total attention for a while.

Only a few nibbles on their lines by the fish, but all in all, they all had a wonderful time.

This is Elizabeth first thing in the morning. Does it look like she needs her coffee?

Here is Catherine bright-eyed and ready to go. This smile is her way to get the breakfast to her quickly!

Later in the day.....

Here are the girls in their tops and skirts their Aunt-Aunt Carolyn and Uncle-Uncle John sent to them when they were born. The outfits seemed HUGE when we got them, especially because they are size 18 months...but they fit! Elizabeth loves this skirt!

Catherine really enjoyed her skirt too. However, she managed to take it off in her crib during nap time. How did she do it? We have no idea.

Happy Easter!

Here are the girls all ready to celebrate Easter! We had planned to wear cute dresses, however, the weather didn't quite cooperate! The high of the day was only 55 degrees! So, a quick change to pants seemed in order.

Here's Joshua hunting for Easter eggs at Papa John and Chole's house. He had a basket full of them! If he looks a little overwhelmed, it's just because there were SO MANY EGGS!!!!

Parker and Noel had their fair share of searching too. They had tons of eggs and candy. The sun peeked out just enough for the egg hunt.

PLAYYYYYYY BALLLLLL!!!

Baseball is back! The girls are participating in the excitement of the Astro's opening series. Unfortunately, we're down 0 - 2 to the Pirates in this series, but the season is just starting!

Above, you see Miss Catherine in her Mommy's Astro's cap. Very cute! She can hardly wait to get to a game to the see the Good Guys in action.

Elizabeth is so excited! Look at this face! Oh, please pardon the squash under the nose. We had just finished eating before we snapped these pics. She is eager to get to Minute Maid Park to check out the foot long hot dogs they have there.

Show Time!

Noel participated in the Friendswood United Methodist Church "Journey to the Cross" musical production tonight. She did wonderful! Her role was that of a towns person and she sang in the choir. She did great! This is a picture of her tonight taken on 'set'.

9 MONTHS OLD!

A CONVERSATION...

"Hey Everyone! We're finally 9 months old and there's a lot going on in our lives!"

"Hello World! It's me, Elizabeth. I am so busy, where should I start? Well, I am talking up a storm. My absolute FAVORITE word ever is 'Dadda'. That's right people, I know where my bread is buttered! I am crawling like crazy AND pulling up on everything in sight, including my sister. I smile to all and love to laugh."

"Greetings! It's me, Catherine, just sitting here on my new ride. I love this thing. It gets me from point A to point B much faster than crawling. Oh, and by the way y'all, I took my first steps the other day. That's right! I walked two whole steps by my own self all the way to Momma! I have been working on it ever since. Just wait I will be running before you know it!"

"When were not too busy crawling and walking, we like to take moment to catch up on our reading together. We're really into learning."
