ANOTHER ADVENTURE!

This week's adventure was a ride on the Bolivar Ferry in Galveston, Texas. It was a nearby destination, and our favorite word...FREE.

Here are the kids as the just got on. Babies are taking it all and trying to have a snack.

Here are Parker and Noel, primary mission in mind, "Feed the Seagulls"!!

The kids started off with bread, but soon ran out. They decided to try Catherine and Elizabeth's favorite treat - Puffs! The birds loved it! They ended up running out of those too.

The birds were not very happy when they ran out of snacks to feed them. They soon moved on to some other suckers, I mean, boat passengers...

All in all, it was fun.

LEMONADE STAND MANIA...

Noel and her best friend Lillian thought that it would be a good idea to run a lemonade for the afternoon. The Texas heat was certainly cooperating with them! They had lots of customers!

At 50 cents a glass, we had to make several pitchers. It really was no time until the girls were able to pay back the $1.50 in quarters we loaned them for change.

Here's Noel manning the stand while Lillian tries to drum up more business.

Lily thought a sign would help and she made sure all passing cars knew there was a lemonade stand waiting for them up ahead!

Here's a picture of the girls in action! They each took home $10! Not bad for 2 hours work!

FIRST SUMMER ROAD TRIP...

We took a little day-trip to visit the Blue Bell Creamery. The kids had no idea where we were going and when we got there...the smiles were non-stop! Here are Parker and Noel ready to start the tour.

Here are the kids post-tour with their free scoop of ice cream. They both chose Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. They could hardly believe how huge the scoops were!

Next stop was St. Clare's Monastery to visit the miniature horses. Here are all the kids outside the gate.
We could hardly believe how small these horses were. Parker was a huge hit as the horses thought his crazy hair was really an afternoon snack.

Catherine and Elizabeth really enjoyed the horses. They both petted them, talked to them, and tried to share their pacifiers with them.

It was a great day!

THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL....

Here's Noel singing karaoke...not sure about the glasses, hat, etc...

Apparently, she had a BIG glass of chocolate milk for snack and couldn't resist the urge to break out in song afterward!

Ron said she was extremely entertaining!

The babies asked for several encores.
