A RUN ACROSS THE GOLDEN GATE

We thought it would be fun to run across the Golden Gate Bridge while we were so close! Here we are before the run - so happy and relaxed!

And, we're off.

Ron and Stephen - look closely at Greg in the back....He told me later he was listening to Kelly Clarkson. No chatting with Greg along the way...

Go Jeff! I took this picture - so if it's blurry (or soggy - as Noel would say) blame it on the fact that I was running backwards!

Almost to the half-way point. Here are Stephen and Greg.

So romantic... a jog across the bridge!

We had to slow down once we found out we were being tracked.....

Half-way there. Do we really have to run back? I think I saw a taxi over there.

Coming back....For some reason it felt longer coming back then going out.

We kept looking for the water stations, however, we never found one...

And, despite the injury to Stephen's Garmin, we made the 3.82 mile trek in pretty good time!

The whole reason we were in California - to celebrate Chris and Sarah. The wedding was beautiful. It took place at the Lake Merritt Garden Center at Lakeside Park in Oakland, California. The weather was perfect.

Family and friends shared poems and caring words during the ceremony. Here's Jeff sharing our favorite musing of the evening; a poem entitled "He Always Leaves the Seat Up."

The girls were playing in the closet last night (also known as trying on all of mommy's shoes). Daddy thought it would be funny to surprise them by opening the door and saying "boo!"

Severe storms came through the neighborhood tonight, but once the rain, lightning and thunder left we were treated to a spectacular view!

JUST PASSING TIME

Today we tried pony-tails. And, guess what? It worked! The girls hair is finally getting longer and we're able to try some different styles. Here's Catherine enjoying her snack with some of her babies.

Elizabeth really enjoys her new do...but, as usual, she's being coy.

Later on, we had wheel-barrow races but not exactly the way one would expect.

Elizabeth added a little flare to the fun by trying on one of Mommy's hard hats. Quite stylish.

WE WENT TO THE ZOO....

Oh my gosh!! Did you see that? It was huge!!!"

"Yes....I did see that! And I can't believe it!"

"No! I can't believe it! This is amazing!"

What are they looking at? Just some amazing fish at the zoo. The kids loved getting up close and personal with nature.

Afterwards, it was time to relax in the wagon and eat an apple......

PASSING TIME AT THE STORE

The latest trend in toddler fashion - the plastic Junior Fire Fighter hat.

It's a must have after you visit the fire house and everyone is wearing them.

But really, the look is not complete without the glove. It says "I don't mind working hard, but I'm not going to mess up my manicure."

WHEN YOU'RE A TWIN.....

When you're a twin you fill your stroller up with two babies.

That's normal, right? Doesn't everybody have TWO babies?

When you're a twin you steal the stroller from your sister because, after all, the other baby in the stroller is YOURS!!!!
